I just updated a huge project that was all transcoded, now it seems like they got rid of that workflow. I searched the new manual and no mention of the word proxy. Am I missing something?

Loving the new update so far.

Not seeing proxy in import or transcode media?

I do now. I wonder if they made the proxy workflow seamless. As in you no longer have to switch between them. When I select "show in finder" it points to the original file. However the resolution of the clips in the viewer appears to be the proxy files. If that's true, not having to remember to switch back and forth is a big plus.

Thanks for pointing that out.

Proxies are still there. If you have created proxy media you can switch to using proxies or original media in the View options top right of the Viewer.

any idea if you will still need to switch back to Original before exporting to make sure you export the highest quality just like in 10.0? Or am i able to just leave the view option on proxie, and whenever i export, it will always use the best quality?

Still need to switch, but you can do it in the viewer.
