I'm having issues when trying to create a multi-cam clip with a good amount of clips (10-15). I don't have access to FCPX infront of me, but in the past I've had decent success with the sync with audio option... not sure on the exact name without seeing it. Recently my clips from a wedding ceremony came back completely out of order and unusable.

Does anyone have any suggestions or a good workflow for setting these up?

Before you make the clip, go through and give different cameras different angle labels in the Inspector>Info tab. Select your clips and create Multicam clip. In the settings pop-up choose:
Angle Assembly: Camera Angle
Angle Clip Ordering: Content Created
Angle Synchronization: Automatic
leave Use audio checked.

If the results are poor (probably due to inconsistent audio) try creating a multicam clip with one angle (preferably the angle with the longest consistent shots like a locked down wide). Open the multi cam editor, click on the little drop-down menu arrow next to the angle name and choose "create new angle." Drag the clips for one camera down to the new angle in the order they were recorded. Make the original angle the monitoring angle, select all of the clips in the new angle, click the drop-down menu arrow for that track and choose Sync Selection To Monitoring Angle.

This should do the trick. Repeat for additional angles.

Try this and if doesn't work, there is one other thing that may help, but is hard to explain so I will need to post pictures.
