Flesh for Fantasy - or how to fake a camera was created by Andreas Kiel
I saw a topic on a German forum this morning about importing only parts of movies (non Cam Files) which are needed – instead of a long movie.
Most people say it's not possible, other complained that their external drives only show up as a cam card.
So, with some fantasy bring both together. Create a virtual cam card. Take my CreateDiskImage or X-Files Pro and create a sparse bundle (size should match at least the amount of data which are needed for the movies).
Then create a folder structure on the main level: "DCIM", "MISC".
Second inside the "DCIM" create for security of structure a "MISC" folder.
Third create a folder with a name of your choice inside the "DCIM".
Forth copy some ".thm" file in folder created before.
Fifth copy your movies to this folder.
Now you got a backup of your movies and also can use only parts of it in Events.
