Red and Black broken Icon on footage

A project that I worked on a few months ago was Organized and Compiled and moved to a sparse bundle. Now when I open the project I am getting the red badge on some of the footage. The audio is still there. There is no yellow badge on the event. If I double click the compound clip that has this footage, the footage is still there. I have tried to Relink the files, the process seems to work but the red icon stays over the footage. Looks like I will have to rebuild the project since nothing is really lost but FCPX is not allow the compound clip to show the video.

Can you post a screenshot of the red badge? It is very much possible this isn't a Media Offline warning but just a warning that some plugins or effects are missing.

Thank you it did turn out to be an effect from FXFactory that was not installed anymore. One thing that I don't understand is that when I was trying to figure out what the problem was, I turned off all effects and I still got the missing effect icon. But now it is working. Thank you for your help.

You can also use my myFiles app to make a basic analyzing of your CurrentProject files. It tells you what is missing or just might be reconnected.
