A small note on export regions was created by Andreas Kiel
Last week I had an issue which drove me nuts. I solved it after a while.
Maybe it's of interest for others.
I had to export small parts of clips in the timeline for customer review. Worked as expected.
Then the customer asked for the whole clip range. So I selected the whole clip range.
FCPX exported only the small region I had selected before.
I deleted render files – no change.
I created a new project and pasted all clips into this one - no change.
Tried several other things – no change.
The problem was solved by rendering the selected regions upfront.
So a project file for whatever reason stores the regions which where exported without render.

Hey Andreas,
Very interesting, thank you for that information. I haven't noticed any issues with this, I will try to reproduce the problem and see what happens.
