Flashing Green frames due to change in FPS?

First of all, i'd like to say Hello.
I'm Lew, a keen self proclaimed 'videographer', making videos of the Downhill Mountain Biking scene over here in the midst of the UK.
I've used FCPx since the release date, but can't seem to figure this one out and its really winding me up...

The whole edit has been put together polishing off at just over 2 mins long, but now when it comes to exporting it i seem to have a 'Green Frame' in between where it switches from the clips that are 50fps to 23.98 (24)fps.
I don't see these when I'm just whacking the space bar to watch it in the timeline, only the final exported file.

I've tried multiple export settings too, with no luck.
Please don't ask how or why i ended up with two separate frame rates, but hey ho. I just need a fix really.

I don't really want to start the edit again either, any advice would be much appreciated; I'm a keen learner.

Thanks in advance, and thanks for reading.

Are there any effects etc (especially third party ones) on either of the clips either side of the frame? If there is try turning those off and see if you get the same issue?

Hi Matt.

No effects, other than some of the clips have been cut down to 50% speed. (slow mo) but i've never had this issue before!

At least effects can be ruled out.I've had green flashes before in both this version of final cut and the old version which were sometimes caused by whatever codec was being used, are you using optimised media? And have you tried deleting the render files and rerender (if you needed to render in the first place).

Are you also using the latest version of FCPX?

Well it seems like you've tried the usual suspects already! Is it a straight jump cut or transition, if it's a straight jump cut maybe try putting a very quick cross fade on see if it still does it?

It's these kind of circumstances where i would bring the file you've rendered out back into FCPX and just edit out that frame!

Sorry, meant export the video with the green frame in, then bring that exported file back into FCPX, and blade edit out the green flash frame (maybe add a single still frame in it's place) and then export again with the frame edited out.
