Exports change background radial to linear

Exports change background radial to linear was created by bobmax48
When exporting two videos with green screen footage with a radial gradient using TKY Gradient generator, the export ends up with the gradient being linear and not radial. Each clip consist of a video clip with the Keyer for the green screen and the gradient generator. Then I turn each clip/gradient into a compound clip. These are then assembles into another compound clip with titles, transitions, intro and outro. Maybe I shouldn't be using compound clips within compound clips but up until this time I have not had a problem with this method.

I'm not seeing the benefit of this step. Why aren't you assembling your green screen compounds in a project? You should test it without the compounds. Is anything rendered before you export?

When using the keyed footage with a background generator , if I applied a transition (in our case, Fade to Color) the generator did not fade correctly. So to solve that problem I made each one of the keyed clips with the generator a compound clip. The transition then works right. I quit using Projects after reading about a technique where you just use a compound clip instead of a Project, it saves space. Guess it is not working in at least this series of videos.

I understand the first compound combining the key with the background. The whole thing about using compounds as projects has been overstated I think, and definitely causes some problems.

I have been using this workflow for a while and never had a problem until recently. I just now moved all compound clips with transitions into a Project and I still got a linear background from the export. Yes I had to render but that didn't seem to make a difference. So I shutdown the computer and restarted. Now the generators have reverted to linear so maybe I have found in a bug in the generator.

Turns out it is a bug, I got hold of the developer and he says that Apple has messed up some things that created this bug. He is either going to remove it from distribution or see if he can correct the problem.
