Compressor greyed out Submit button

I'm trying to compress a file for Vimeo in Compressor and when I go to submit the file, the Submit button is grayed out. I've trashed the preferences and made sure my Compressor version is up to date. Is there something else I should be considering? I'd do it through FCPX, but I want to be able to work on another project so I'd rather do it via Compressor manually. Thanks.

I had an issue with this. It was resolved by a little app called "Compressor Repair."

I also get this often. So far the only fix that works for me is zap all the preference files and delete and reinstall the Application.

Give it a try! But do't forget to backup your custom presets.

Cheers

Try any of these steps:

Reset Background Processing.

Open Apple QMAster from the menu toolbar. If Share This Computer in Setup is not checked, then check it and hit OK. That may fix it.

If it is checked, uncheck Compressor in Services and then uncheck Share This Computer. Hit OK and close down Compressor. Re-open Compressor and Apple Qmaster and reverse the steps in the previous paragraph.
