Introduction plugin

I'm pulling what's left of my hair out trying to figure out a way to create an introduction similar to the one used for the original superman movie. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.

While the intro to the superman movie may be fresh in your head, it's not in mine and I guess lots of other people too. Can you be more specific and perhaps link to what you are looking to create?

By "original" do you mean the old black and white? Or the more recent ones? Can you link to a sample?

You'll have to change some settings to get the effect you want, but this paid plugin will be the fastest way.
