Anyone having problems with BlackMagic/Mavericks/FCPX?

Help!

I updated last night and just loaded up FCPX quickly to make sure things were working.

This morning got to work on some changes and noticed no video out to my Broadcast Monitor.

So I did a quick search and downloaded the newest Desktop Video for my Intensity Extreme. 9.8.1. Installed it and loaded up FCPX. Video was back, but immediately I was getting beachballs on playback. Audio would drop out after a couple of seconds, and intermittently I'd crash out of FCPX.

So I uninstalled Desktop Video. Loaded up- problems continued.

So I pulled the Thunderbolt cable connecting my Intensity to my machine. Loaded up FCPX and so far no hangs or crashes.

Anyone else have issues or non-issues with this setup?

As a followup to my own post- this issue is being discussed at the BM forums. Thank goodness it's not just me!

I guess we'll have to wait for software update- until then, I've lost my broadcast monitoring!
