Event Manager X and FCPX

Can somebody help on a problem I am experiencing with Event Manager?
With the recent update I seem not to be able to run it it comes out blank, and on the other hand my FCPX does not recognize anymore the Image Disks I created with Disk Utilities for my projects like it used to happen in the past.
Now when I open FCPX it only can see the external Hard Disks connected to the computer, but not the Image Disks that I opened in the Finder. Even when my Event Manager X application is closed.
Can somebody give me a hint why this may be happening?
Thanks in advance!
Carlos

I had the same issue with event manager, but I didn't do anything with disk images so I can't help there.
Basically, I uninstalled event manager and just move my projects and events manually the the hidden folders, it's really not that big of a deal this way, and now when I plug in someone else's drive, I don't have to hide all of their events, then forget to put them back and get a call from them wondering where their events went.

As this issue has started with the latest update I would advise you to contact Digital Rebellion:
www.digitalrebellion.com/contact.html
They have a good track record of responding well to customers.

What Ronny probably means is Intelligent Assistance, they make Event Manager X.
Digital Rebellion makes other tools, unless I'm not seeing something.
assistedediting.intelligentassistance.com/EventManagerX/
Philip Hodgetts is indeed very reactive for support.

I had some problems with the latest Event Manager X not showing certain drives/events/projects and contacted the developer who got back very quickly and recommended a reinstal which seemed to fix things.

I had some problems with Event Manager X as well recently and found another thread on this forum, where plysat offered a solution that worked for me:
Hope it works for you too
plysat wrote: Try trashing the prefs/database. In Finder hold down the Option key and choose Go > Library. Application Support/Assisted Editing and it's called Event Manager X.yml and Event Manager X.plist.
If you have a "sets" file, you can keep that. It's solved the occasional oddity for me...
Hope it works for you too

Philip and his team are amazing at customer service and quickly updating their apps (as quick as the appStore will allow).
Trashing Prefs will likely do it. I had that problem an update or two ago.
