Hi guys and gals, this is my first post in here so hopefully I can get some help from you guys.

I am desperately trying to create this look and I'm not having too much luck :(

I have found different tutorials where you composite in a creamy colored solid, but I feel like there is more to this look than that and simply pulling up the shadows.

I have Magic Bullet Looks as well so if I'm not able to get it in Final Cut, I can use that.

Any and all help would be much appriciated. Please and Thank you

Have you tried blending light leaks as part of the process? There are a ton of freebies out there, and fcpeffects.com has some low cost ones as well.

There is more than one single look or color grade in that video. Some segments have varying degrees of contrast, shadows and other exposure settings. Portions of the video have a more subtle saturation than others. The light leaks are a separate effect on top of the color grading. I'm not sure exactly what you are asking.

Try using Looks and starting out with the Dream Haze option, then add and change your parameters from there. It sounds like you're trying to achieve something that has a good amount of diffusion to it, whereas it has been achieved in-camera for those shots of the flowers due to the natural light and sun. If you're comping in After Effects, you can add a wiggle effect to Exposure and maybe some DeFocus blur too.

He says that he only used tint and RGB to create the look, and also said it was very simple.
And the camera settings was reduced by -2, probably known as a flat image. Easier to edit in post.

I'm sorry I can't help you more.
