I want to do a multi screen intro but im having problems fitting every shot in and centering them... any tips? also are there any youtube vids on this?

Hi Rob,

I see you are trying to do this with a multilayer composition. That's not easy, I know.

I have an FCPX generator that will allow you to do this in no time. I see you are trying to create a multiscreen with 12 images, whereas the template I have works with 16 different images. If that's not a problem just e-mail me at ronnycourtens(at)mac(dot)com and I will send you the template.

You just have to put it into your Motion Templates > Generators folder and it will show up in FCPX next time you launch the app. Then you select each video to add it to the video wall. Your videos will be placed in the appropriate screens and they will be scaled and centered correctly. You can change the duration of the multiscreen, scale and rotate the multiscreen in 3D space and even add a simple border to it.
