I often knock the audio level in a shot I have in play on the timeline. Is there a way to move shots around without accidentally changing the level? Thanks.

Not 100% sure I understand your issue. If you are clicking on the audio portion of the clip by accident and changing levels that way you can change the clip appearance so there is no audio portion to click.

Use Command-2 to make the Timeilne active.

Then try the keyboard shortcuts of holding Control-Option while hitting the 1-6 keys.

I prefer the quicker way, using Control-Option, while hitting the up and down arrow keys.

Yes, thank-you.. you did understand. Yes, I had thought of that too... but would still prefer if I could see the wf. I'm using a Wacom stylus and do sometimes 'hit' the audio my mistake. Wondering if there is a way key-stroke so the audio stays 'locked' until I need to activate it. Apple, if you are listening(?).. But if anyone knows of anything like this, please suggest..

thank-you very much for your help.
