Hi,
I am new to FCPX and I can't work out the best way to set up my workflow.
I am currently shooting a series of yoga videos with one static camera and a close-up roaming camera. Both Canon Mark 5s. The second (roaming) camera is just for very short cutaways. Should I sync clips or make a multicam clip? What is the best way to sync the clips? I only want to shoot short clips with the roaming camera as opposed to filming with both cameras throughout the sequence so as to reduce the amount of footage and therefore import time.
Thank you so much. Any help is much appreciated.
Very best,
Abi

Don't shoot very short cutaways. You don't have to shoot continuously, but it's a routine do you can plan what cutaways you need and can shoot with enough handles to make it easy to edit. Use the multicam function. Syncing is to sync audio with video. If you're using multicam this isn't necessary.
