Hi:
Wondering about camera archives. I took a good bit of footage I had and created the Camera Archive from the footage. I don't have the footage anymore.
I know you can import these Archives (like a disk image, I believe) into FCPX for editing, but when you're finished, how else can you utilize the footage on the Archive? I'd like to backup the .MOV files to a blu-ray disc, but not sure if I can (other than copying the Archive itself onto the disk, if that's possible).
Another way to ask the question is: Is there any method, once you've created the Archive, for extracting the .MOV files from the Archive and "breaking them loose" to be used or accessed individually outside of FCPX?
Thanks for any insight ---

Hi Sean,
R-click the Camera Archive and select "Show Package Content". This will reveal the media inside the Archive. From here you can duplicate the media onto another drive or a BR disk.

in the Finder enable Show All Filename Extentions. then you can see that your archive has extension *.fcarch. delete it, leave just a name and you will get Folder. open and use files.
