Importing Apple Color timeline to FCPX problem was created by Hakan
Hello mates,
I edited my project in FCPX 10.0.8 than i export XML file and open it with DaVinci Resolve to export it again for Apple Color. So far so good no problem. I edit my color in that program but when i said send to final cut pro it was opening with the old projects. I mean i can't see my color editing in that project. I can't figure out how can i import that file in fcp x. I tried to export an XML from color, but i couldn't open it with Davinci nor FCPX.
So i will be very glad if you help me..

Sending to final cut pro from Color will open your media in classic FCP, not in FCPX.
If the XML from Color cannot be read by Resolve (which surprises me because Resolve accepts generic xml) you can try to export an EDL out of Color and open the EDL in Resolve. Then you export an FCPXML from Resolve to get your graded media in FCPX.
BTW if you edit in FCPX why don't you simply do your grading in Resolve? Color is really EOL and roundtripping between FCPX and Resolve is a breeze. If you know how to grade in Color you won't have any difficulty doing it in Resolve.
