When trimming a clip doesnt remove the part i dont want.

I have a clip that i would like to modify, but no matter what tool i use, select, trim, position, range, blade, it just ends up trimming the duration, not the clip itself...
i can do it with the remaining 39 clips, but not this spesific one... its a title clip.
What is wrong

Which title? They're all different. Many have pre-built animations that bring the title onto the screen and to take it off at the end. Please give exact information about what you're doing as we can't see your computer and post screen shots or take screen captures.

Its the Far far away title... Im trying to end it sooner, cause i dont want it to run the last 10 secs when text are barely visible at the end, but i still want the scrolling speed its setup with now.

You can't shorten it of the title speeds up. That's the way it's designed. Use keyframes to fade out the opacity of the title before it ends.

So i just have to do that, overlap and fade it into the next clip?

I think so if I understand what you are doing.
