Has anyone tried RedGiant Bulletproof in their workflow? If so, how was/is it? Does all the metadata transfer?

I've been using it and really liking it. A few reasons why:
1. It auto backs up the media to a 2nd drive. And it's pretty darn fast and smart about it too (I can start importing another card while the first is backing up)
2. I tend to import my DSLR footage as movie files rather than copy the whole card structure. This way, in FCPX I don't have to "reimport" all my media. It also fixes the annoying DSLR bug I have in FCPX where files that are around 4GB tend to fail when importing quite often.
3. Keywords and markers transfer great into FCPX. You can export a FCPXML from BulletProof. I have not done too much of this since I'm usually the one editing, but if you were handing over your stuff to an editor, I could see this being a great time saver. Also, you have the ability to do a 1 light color correction, transcode, and conform speed natively right out of bulletproof. This does make another copy of the media fyi.
Personally, I think at $199 it's a bit expensive, but then again, I can't imagine my workflow without it. Each client of mine gets their own Catalog, so it kind of builds an archive of all their work (I do a lot of repeat business in my shop). I think the dev team there did a real solid job and I hear they are working hard on adding support for more cameras.

I've been using it for all my GoPro and DSLR footage. So far I really like it.
Things I really like:
1. adding metadata, keywords, markers etc
2. applying LUTS to my footage( GoPro Protune and Flat DSLR footage)
3. automatic backup on import
4. the ability to save presets for almost everything
Things I don't like:
1. sometimes keywords don't have any clips associated with them.
2. can't export something > 1080p ie GoPro 2.7k footage
3. playback could use some love ie being able to skim clips
4. support for more LUT formats
5. can't specify the event name in the fcpxml export file.
Having said that, I love using it and I think its a terrific app, especially for a 1.0 release. I'm really looking forward to see what else Red Giant has up their sleeve for this product.
