Totally off topic -- need of material for a subtitle tutorial

So here the idea.
Simple scene:
Guest in a bar (home country)
Waiter/Waitress aks (because he/she just was talking to another guest in their native language) "what do you want to drink" in his/her native language.
Guest doesn't understand
Waiter/Waitress excuses and says the same sentence using the "home language"
This is a situation I got often enough.

So why this stupid request?
I'm involved - also often enough - in subtitle projects.
I could do a tutorial by my own using the features like roles and notes etc to make a multi language project -- unfortunately all the material I have is copy protected and I don't have the means and time to do something like that.

But it could be a both fun and serious project. Imagine I got maybe 5 more of this little scenes and the timed translation/transcript.
Scenes could be around the world. They will be cut into one sequence using roles and also roles for the subtitles. So the 5 clip example would mean that you have 5 "home languages" and whatever kind of "Waiter/Waitress native language"
The final sequence should have the viewers home language and only display subtitles when needed. For the hearing impaired there should be an subtitle track in his/her "home language" for every spoken word (or description of sound etc)

This can be handled in FCPX, though it's quite tricky and for some things you need third party apps too.

So if anybody is interested drop me me a mail: kiel(at)spherico(dot)com
Or just reply here.

Thanks for the time you spent reading this post.
