Sound from H1 disappears from FCPX!
When I reconnect H1, I get the audio back. How can I disconnect H1 and still have the audio file?

Select your event, choose File-->Organize Event Files and have consolidate all media on to your HDD. Once completed you should be able to disconnect your H1.

I'll try that next time.
For now, I had to move the audio files from H1 to my HDD. Open FCPX and import the files from my HDD to the same HDD.
But, where to I choose my event? Inside FCPX? When I do, there's no option to Organize Event Files.
But I have the consolidate project media. But I can't click the link.

You select your event in the Event Library just as you do when importing media or choosing media from the event to use in a project.
Once the event has been selected choose FILE-->Organise Event Files
A dialog will appear that asks you if you want to copy all external media in to the event folder. It's really that simple.

It was simple, but I had to quit FCPX and go back in, in order to be able to click the "Organize Event Files".
Thanks!
Will try that when importing audio the next time.

Ahh, that might be the key to all this. I'll remember that. Thanks!

I have never done that when importing from camera. It the video files are always there when disconnecting the camera. Why do I have to do this with the audio files and not video files?

For some camera types FCPX does this automatically and doesn't give you the choice.

I'm importing video files now from my 5D MK3, and noticed the "Copy files to Final Cut Event folder". It was unchecked, so I checked it just to be sure. I have never checked it before, but perhaps it always has been besides now.
