Blank (Black bar with no media showing) Projects in Library?

Have a few project versions that are showing blank or just a black bar where you would normally see media clips there -- can usually preview by running pointer across it. Anyone else have any experience with this / input on a resolution?
Thanks,

That might be a quirk in FCPX. I have noticed the blank project once or twice running 10.0.9 and skimming the project restores the thumbnails. If your project is still valid by doing this and nothing is missing when you open it, I wouldn't worry about it. You might fill out the Feedback form within FCPX if you continue to notice it happening.

It's indeed a quirk and yes please send feedback to Apple.
One solution is to renew ("trash") your FCPX preferences (which you always should do after updating). There's a free utility called Preference Manager that can help you with this is you are not familiar with renewing your prefs.
Sometimes it even helps if you just zoom in on your Tiimeline, wait until you see the thumbnails appear and zoom back out again. And if this does not help you can manually refresh your thumbnails by trashing them in your Project > Render Files > Thumbnails folder.
