Hand tool scrolling behaviour

Hi,
The hand tool's behaviour seems odd to me: when dragging the timeline horizontally, everything is fine, but the vertical scrolling is inverted by default, and I can't find a way to change that.
It reminds me Lion and ML "natural" scrolling direction, which is very, very unnatural to me.
Please someone tell me which obvious box I missed and didn't check or uncheck.
Thanks.
