How do you do this title effect??

This is doing my brain in, does anyone know how to do this title effect at 35 secs in this video??

It's all about creating a mask. You can put the layer with the text on top of the picture and then add the picture on top of the text again and then just mask out the upper picture. Or just use two layers and mask the text. Anyway, use a mask. Alex4D 8-point-mask is cool and free, if you have a little money left, you might try sliceX. Good luck!
