HELP: Corrupted Project file: Need to restore ASAP

I recently completed an hour long online video presentation, which I was rendering out when the system froze.

After I restarted I tried to open FCPX with the project file open.
FCPX simply spins while trying to load the project. I have tried to duplicate the project, to no avail.
Tried to duplicate the backup and rename it in the project file, to no avail.

Is there any way that I can uncorrupted this file so I can get this rendered. This needs to be rendered out and sent out by tomorrow, and there's no way I duplicate this project.

Any program out there that might eb able to fix a corrupted project file?

I have never used it but Digital Rebellion's Pro MaintenanceTools might help you. It has a Project Repair app that looks like it will work for FCPX.

Project Repair is indeed a great tool, but there is no guarantee that it will fix every possible corrupt Project file. It is worth trying, though.

If this does not work:

- Does the Project never open, even when you wait for a long time without doing anything else on your computer?

- Don't you get an "unable to open project file" message?

- When you hide this particular Project, does FCPX correctly open any other Projects?
