Hi all, Glad to find this community for FCP. I just downloaded free effect from Xeffects ( XEffects Flare Lights ) . Installed fine. When I try to apply the effect to any of my clips, the whole clip turns blue and I don't see anything. Am I doing something wrong. Any help is appreciated.

Sounds like you are not running the latest version of Final Cut Pro.

This is old trial version that I had downloaded long time back. Maybe I should download a new trial, that might help. Thanks for your help
