Audio turns half red

Can anyone explain why all of a sudden my audio clips in timeline turned half red, half green? (Upper part green, bellow - red). Same clips in event folder turned completely red. They sound OK when played, though.

Post screen shots of what you're seeing. What are the specs of the media?

Wonder if there's anything weird in your system specs. Try trashing prefs and thumbnail files in events and projects.

Have seen this too. Voice overs are just gone and when that happens it all turns red. Am on latest version, 10.0.9. I think this is bug. Fortunately, for me, most of it has been short clips and all I can do is re-record them.

Trash your thumbnails? Go in the project and event folders for these files and find the render folders. Thumbnails and peak data should be in there. Or you can simply trash all the render folders. Wait for the application to rebuild them.

You need to relink your audio files. Read this article

I don't think this is the case. I have not done anything what could cause this problem and is mentioned in this article. I just import an audio file, wait for half a minute not doing anything at all and then watch that clip turn red by itself.
But the good news is that the file is still there. I finished the project and exported finished version and audio is just fine.
