Any way to set default duration for titles?

Hi Guys -
I see settings for transitions and stills. And if not, what influences that duration?
Mine (at home), when i drag one into the timeline, is 4 sec. At work, it's set at 10 sec.

Different titles have different durations depending on the animation.

What Tom says, plus you can change the duration of any title on the timeline to make the animation longer or shorter depending on your needs.

As for the default stills duration: FCPX always imports stills with a duration of 10 seconds. So the imported stills in your Event Browser are all 10 seconds long. In Preferences you can set the duration your selection will have when you click on a still clip in the Event Browser. At home you have this preference set to 4 seconds, so when you select the still and you drag it onto the timeline it will be 4 seconds. At work this preference will be set to 10 seconds.
