Hi

I have a question: When using the inspector to adjust a series of clips, how do you select the next clip without using a mouse?

EXAMPLE: COLORGRADING
I know that you can press [ARROW DOWN] and [C] to select the next clip in the timeline. But the problem is, that as soon as you start working in the inspector, the timeline gets deselected, and you can no longer use the [ARROW UP] + [C] to select the next clip.

How do I select the next clip in the timeline without using the mouse?

Thanks!
Gunnar

Use the ' key (next to \) to get to the next edit and then use the i (set in Point) short cut. This selects the clip and puts into the Inspector ready for your next colour correction.

Hi Jimmy

Thanks for your reply.

The problem is, as soon as you start to make any adjustments in the inspector, your keyboard shortcuts no longer works, as you "have left" the timeline. VERY annoying…

They should work. If you have the inspector selected and you hit '
does you timeline not jump to the next shot?

Yeah yeah yeah - it actually works, it's just not turning "yellow active", only "grey active" in the timeline, but it does the trick.

Man I'm looking forward to get my SB Cover for FCPX ;-)

Thanks for the help!
