Can anyone suggest a way to find vertical / horizontal stills using the timeline index? The info panel has an orientation value of 0 or 1 to set horizontal or vertical but I can't figure how to make use of it in the index.
Thanks
EDIT: being able to do this by smart collection would also be incredible helpful

Use roles. Create two new video roles, one for horizontal, one for video. Then in the timeline index, go to the roles section and select only the role you want to see.
The only issue is that I'm not sure if the roles in the storyline will change if you change the roles in the event browser. But if it doesn't work this time, you know what to do next time.

Thanks for the reply Julien.
I could use roles or just as easily keyword tagging but both solutions unfortunately require manual selection of all the portrait/landscape images in the first instance which is what I'm trying to avoid by directly accessing the existing orientation data. If I could create a smart collection based on orientation data that would work because I could then tag all images in the Portrait/landscap smart collection but I don't think smart collection offer that either. Perhaps if smart collections were expanded to be customisable based on any format data...but they are limited at the moment to preset options.
At this point I'm thinking it's not possible and making it a feature request - just holding out hope that I am missing something.
