You can check that and also apply your own shortcuts using the Final Cut menu. I don't know the menu in English but it should be the third choice from the top (try shortcut opt-cmd-K to open the shortcut editor if you don't find it in the menu, helps with my German shortcuts at least).

Many thanks for your help.
I was stupid - when I did as you asked and looked at the modification of shortcuts, I saw immediately listed the correct shortcut for MY keyboard.
