Create Quicktime with multiple language tracks was created by Carsten Orlt
I'm on all the latest versions and just ran into a problem.
In the old days of QT7 I could make quicktimes for my producer where I used different language tracks to have different versions of the audio track (e.g. with or without voice over)
As Apple has removed this from the QT 10 player I can't work out if there is a method with FCPx or any new third party software.
Roles only let me split the output but I can't combine 5 roles into one track and than 5-1 into another.
Any ideas would greatly appreciated
(Of course I can make 2 QT movies but you know how producers are, they hate change
Cheers

However you slice it, years after the introduction of Quicktime X, I still find it horribly lacking in a lot of departments compared to QT 7.
It doesn't even have a decent multiple monitor support, like 7 had.
When Quicktime X was released, I hoped it would get all the features of 7 back, just wait and sit back.
Years later, and still QTX is almost the same mediocre product it was when Apple released it.

QuickTime X is just a player - if you have the QuickTime 7 player you can still use it in recent versions of OS X. I use the QT7 player most days.
If you bought Final Cut Studio, you should still have the QuickTime 7 Pro registration code that unlocks all the features of QuickTime 7 Player. It has survived on my Macs with each OS X upgrade.
There is an Apple support document that includes a download link for it.

Alex
Thanks for this. AS it doesn't say very clearly on the website that it'll work with Mountain Lion I wasn't sure I cam install the player.
Done this now but can't figure out how to register my pro license? Enter all Quicktime Pro codes I have since vers 1. I think the newest I have is Final Cut Studio HD. But none work.
I sort of remember that the 'registered to' field needs to be correct but I can't remember what exacly to enter there? Any idea?
Cheers
