Hi,
What would be the right way to get back trashed event and project into FCP X? I have not emptied the trash, it all is still there.
Thanks!

Select the item in the trash and press Cmd-delete to put it back.

Can you please explain more in detail?
I opened my trash bin and I see three folders, one of them, I guess, is the event folder and two others project folders. I selected the folder and pressed Cmd and delete simultaneously buttons but nothing happens. May be I have to go inside those folders and press on a specific icon there?

That can happen if something has changed in the original location. Open the folders and see which are the events and which projects. Drag the folders back to the Final Cut Events and Final Cur Projects folders that they came from.

I managed to drag event in FCPX, though, not in the right way - it merged it with another existing event.
But project folders cannot be dragged into project library section. I take them both or separately, drag them but it doesn't even offer add or + icon. What am I misunderstanding here...

Close FCP. You don't drag anything into FCP. You drag the folders back where they came from in pour hard drive. Where these on a separate drive or on your system drive? Either in your Movies folder or at the root level of your separate drive are folders called Final Cut Projects and Final Cut Events. There's where the the events and projects get placed. You're not doing anything inside FCP. There are no folders in FCP called Final Cut Events or Final Cut Projects.
