Hate to beat an old horse, but I think the majority of us have discovered FCPX's noise reduction tool leaves something to be desired. I had a project that had horrible background noise (silly producer wanted the interview in front of the LOUD Avid system) and to clean it up in FCPX left it feeling warbled and terrible. I brought in the separate sound files to Adobe Audition and the tools in that are FANTASTIC... but I hate having to go into another program just to clean up some BG noise.
Has anyone tried using 3rd party plugins like the ones from iZotope directly in FCPX? Wondering what the experience is like... maybe they work better in something like LPX?
