urgent matter/ colour balance was created by parparpar
Hi everybody,
I just shot two days worth of material using the wrong filter (Cinebooster).
As a result, skins look like clay and there is way, way too much blue.
Will it be possible for me to balance the colours once I get to editing on FCPX?
I've done this with other people's material, but here the blu is SERIOUSLY unbalanced.
Any help/info deeply appreciated.

Updating: I wasn't that clear beforehand. What makes me a bit nervous is that in some shots the colours of very different filmed objects (skin, fish, wall in the background) are very, very similar.
Will automatic colour correction give me a good start, or do I have to resort to manual correction (I mean shape masks, etc.).
Thanks again

Auto balance may or may not work, just give it a shot.
If things are too bad, you'll need some serious correction power, such as using DaVinici Resolve (free).
Can we see some samples of what you're working with?

Hi, thanks for your answer.
I solved the issue with manual and automatic colour balancing.
