Issues editing master audio in multicam clip was created by shunluoifong
I have a multicam clip with 2 video clips and 1 audio clip. I placed a number of clips on the timeline, and then went back to the Angle Editor to edit the audio so that it would apply to all of the clips on the timeline. However, when I edit the volume, pan mode, pan amount, it doesn't update on any of the clips on the timeline.
When I look at the audio inspector for one of the clips on the timeline, everything is set to default values rather than the values in set for the master audio in the Angle Editor. For example, in the Angle Editor I raised the volume to 5, but in the clips on the timeline, the volume is set at 0. Same for the pan mode...in the Angle Editor I set it to "Stereo Left/Right" but in the clips on the timeline it is set back to None.
Is this expected behavior? Am I doing/understanding something incorrectly? Or is this a known issue in FCPX?
As a side note, if I edit a master video clip in the Angle Editor, the changes are reflected on the timeline. This only seems to be an issue with audio.

When you change the volume, Pan Mode, EQ... of an active audio angle in the Angle Editor and you switch back to your Timeline you will hear these changes reflected in every clip in the Timeline. But when you select any clip in the Timeline the Inspector will show the global Volume, Pan... values for that clip and not for the individual angle you have changed. The reason for this is quite simple:
A clip in a multicam Timeline can have many audio channels, whereas there is only a global Volume and Pan slider for that clip in the Inspector. So when you select a clip in a multicam Timeline the Volume and Pan sliders will show the global settings for that particular clip, and not the individual settings you have changed on a particular angle in the Angle Editor.
This does not apply to Channel Configuration because each clip in the Timeline has individual settings for each available audio channel. So when you change the audio channel configuration of an active audio angle in the Angle Editor and you switch back to your Timeline the Inspector will show the change you have made to the audio channel configuration for every clip you select in the Timeline.
