This is going to sound rather silly, I'm sure. But I've got all my footage organized into separate events for my project. Probably should not have imported and initially organized it all that way, but there it is. So now I want to select a bunch of clips for a segment in the video that are scattered across multiple events, and cut the segment using the Multicam tool. I'm all good with everything about Multicam, except this. Am I missing something really obvious here?
Events have always been on my sh!tlist coming from other NLEs and FCP7 where bins always just made sense. So any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Update: I've gone through, picked the footage for my Multicam segment, and am moving those to a new Event, specifically for the Multicam segment. I'm thinking this is the only way to go about organizing, or re-organizing for what I am wanting to do, correct?

Honestly, it sounds like you're not grasping the paradigm correctly. Events are not Bins. Keyword collections, smart collections, tagging, these are the alternative to Bins. Events have no equivalent in other NLEs. That said...

One Event, use keywords, smart collections, and tagging. Way faster and easier and more flexible than Bins. Learn it, once you do, you'll hate Bins.

What I would do, if I were taking over the project from you, is "Merge Events" into one Event. Then go through and keyword, smart collection, etc.

The Merge Events option does make sense. I'll look into whether thats a functional option for me and the project. I appreciate the response.
I do get the point of Events, Keywords, tagging, etc. Its just such a different way of approaching project management, takes a lot of getting used to.
