can FCPx use chapter marker thumbnails for dvd?

Im trying to make a simple dvd with chapter markers on it with thumbnail for the chapters. I set up the timeline in FCPx with the chapters and thumbnails but when i share to dvd it only gives me the chapter # for each one. ? any ideas?

Tom you must be misunderstanding me. Im using FCPX to make a DVD, I was hoping theres a way to use the Chapter marker Thumbnails. apparently it does not use them nor does compressor. If i could get them to show up in encore id use that but i dont think you can export the markers into encore .

No, thumbnails don't work. The chapter names should work.

You can change your method to creat thumbnails for you dvds. As for me, I have onle tried to creat thumbnails using the free trial package of another 3rd party imaging tool. You can google it and check its free trial package first if possible. I hope you success. Good luck.
