Hold Frame, how do you delete it? was created by robs
Hi There, I selected a frame I wanted to freeze then selected Hold from the retiming menu to freeze the frame, now I want to delete that held frame, when I highlight it and press delete it does disappear but then reappears when I try to extend the clip, any ideas on how to get rid of it?
Thanks
Thanks

The reset function will remove it.

Like Tom said. Reset Speed (ALT+CMD+R) will also remove any other speed changes you may have applied to the clip.
If you are running 10.0.8 it's easier to use Edit > Freeze Frame to create a freeze frame than to use Hold in the Retiming menu. Unless your clip has fast movement, in that case the Retime >Hold option may still be better to freeze the action because it eases into the freeze. At least in FCPX we have a choice
