Still Store

Still Store was created by NocoDave
A few months ago I created a still store template. Something similar, but very different to this:
www.fcp.co/forum/utility/17245-lawn-road...free-fcp-x-generator
I decided to hold on to it until Apple fixed the issue with populating drop zones from the timeline only showing the last frame in the templates.
Recently I had an idea.
In an event, create a smart collection titled "Still Store" with the criteria "Text", "Includes", "SS_".
Now when I want an image in my still store I save a frame titled "SS_02-06-15", where "02-06-15" is the timecode.
I save that frame directly to the relevant "Event", "Original Media" folder. Opening the folder in "Finder", I drag it into the "Event" in FCPX and it automatically goes to my still store "Smart Collection".
This can then be viewed in the "Event Viewer", with scopes if desired, and compared to a clip being worked on the "Project Viewer".
I've been contemplating better workflows as it is a bit cumbersome, perhaps having a separate event for a still store for each project may work better in the long run rather than the smart collection in an event. It probably would actually, as material could come from multiple events.
I think it would make an ideal still store if Apple were to make it more streamlined, before I go to the feature request I was wondering if anyone had any ideas.
I think for the moment I'd like to see an "Add to Still Store" command, perhaps with a specialised type of "Still Store Event" or "Collection".
Maybe the ability to chose whether that still being added remains baked or adjusts as/if the timeline reference is changed would be nice too.
