Newbie question: what happens if I upload a video that hasnt rendered completely? was created by omar
If I have project that hasnt rendered fully and I upload, what happens?
I got really jumpy video at one stage - just wondering if this was what caused it
ALSO: I find I have to go into project to find that the redering hasnt finished
Is there a way to force rendering of all unrendered?
Thanks
Omar

If your project isn't rendered before you begin exporting, FCP X will have to render during the export process. It shouldn't affect your exported file. There is a benefit to rendering before export in that the render files are saved in your project folder, so you won't have to render again if you export to a different destination. When you export without rendering first, you're basically only rendering to temporary files; you'll have to start all over rendering what you didn't render if you need to export another file.
If you have background rendering turned on, you don't need to worry about force rendering. If background rendering is disabled, you can use the Ctrl-Shift-R key command to Render All.
