I have a project that is impossible to finish because the multi cam is corrupted
but I have done a huge amount of editing for my client,
Is there anyway I can re create the multicam, replace the corrupted one with a fresh start, and not loose all the editing Ive done in my project?
any help would be greatly appreciated!
thanks
jeremy

I believe you can do this without much problem.
Just open the multi cam clip using the angle editor
(Right click on the multicam clip in the media browser and choose "open in angle editor")
Once inside the angle editor, you can replace the corrupted clips with good clips, and resync as necessary.
The edited material that you've already placed in your projects will automatically update with the newly transmogriphied (I made that word up) multi cam.
Hope this helps.

I second Scott. I've done that with multicam, compound, sync'd, audio, even a normal clip. Right click, open in timeline, and replace edit in the timeline with the same (or anything) from the event browser. All replace edits will reflect in your main timeline.
