Help Please! Multicam clip corrupted - cant finish gig bc taking forever to edit

Any help IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!

I have an old project that has become impossible to edit because the multi cam was not handled well,
It has low quality clips mixed with other standard DV tape video, and a canon 5d , etc


Is there any way I can recreate a multicam clip and apply the edits I have already done

The project is pretty much finished, but Its taking forever to finalize because I must of screwed up the multicam clip,

I am using proxy media and 16 gigs of ram, and its only this multicam that is causing problems, I have to use event manager to hide the project, just so tcp x will open, and then relaunch with the project no longer hidden,



I have the multicam clip contained in a compound clip to apply audio edits to the overall project,


I had done a ton of analysis and frame blending methods to improve the low quality clips, and the analysis files take up more space then the media,


any help would be a life savor !
