From DV & DVCAM, through XDCAM EX and AVCHD, there's been 'UserBits' - a sort of Kissing Cousin to Time Code where we could set info like Originating Camera, time & date, or 'Time Of Day'
But I've not seen a way of accessing it.
Is there a plug-in or a generator or something?
Is there a third party transcoder that embeds UserBits as metadata readable by FCPX?
