Audio Issues in FCP X

So here is my problem. I have exported an XML from FCP 7 and translated it via 7toX to FCPX, but now the audio has hiccups. The sound comes and goes on the sequence as well as the individual clips.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Footage shot in HD at 25fps and edited at 25fps. Everything works fine in FCP 7 and there are no transitions and no filters and also no Motion Projects. Just plain footage cut together.

Please help!

Haven't heard of this exact problem before. Some others will offer you advice shortly, but I'd trash the FCPX project & try again. It sounds like an anomaly. Also since in FCP 7 it's so easy to detach the audio, perhaps try exporting it as it's own AIFF file or whatever audio format you choose & reintroducing it to FCPX that way. These are just guesses, as this is a new issue to my ears & I no longer have FCP 7 to try it.

I had major audio issues when running FCPX and Lion OS. There were pops and noises in the audio. The problem was fixed with Mountain Lion but I had to down grade back to snow leopard at the advice of the apple store which fixed the audio issues temporarily but boy, what a headache! It was a known issue but apple fixed it with Mountain Lion. Not sure if this information pertains to your situation but i thought I would share.

Thanks for the feedback guys, it seems that I have fixed the problem, I just selected all the clips, right-clicked and chose 'Analyze and Fix' and checked all the audio boxes. Solved the problem. I'm a brand new user of FCPX so I don't know if I had to do that or not, only saw that it had to be done with new imports and videos I found on 7toX never mentioned that.

Anyway, issue resolved. :cheer:

Sounds like a glitch in 7toX. I'd contact them and let them know.
