Proper way of importing media

Is a direct import of media (via File - import media) from camera (I have Sony FS100) to FCPX a right way to do it? This is how I've been importing all the time. But since I cannot solve juddering problems I'm starting to think that there might be an another and better way. I've seen people mentioning ClipWrap but am not sure if I should use it.
I have juddering problems with my 1080 25p material as well as with 1080 50p material. The latter was shot just yesterday on a glidecam and had slow and smooth pans and movements but still the eyes hurt when watching the imported material. It is bad when panning. I just don't understand what am I doing wrong...

How you import won't effect judder. Can you post a sample?
Without seeing it, off the top of my head, I'd say watch for pans, tilts and dollies that are too fast for the frame rate. Also make sure your camera cards are plenty fast enough and noting is over heating.
But yeah, I'd need to see a sample posted to really be able to tell for sure.
You could select your clips in the Event Browser (all problem ones at once), right-click them and chose "Analyze & Fix". Then have them analyzed for stabilization and rolling shutter. Open it from the Browser into a Timeline, switch on that function, see if that helps.

OK, but why is such, for example, ClipWrap needed if I can import media directly into FCPX? And use it with no problems.
Here I uploaded a sample of my juddering problem - vimeo.com/66631025
I'm thinking that I may have had not right shutter when filming this. I had 1080 50p with 50 shutter. May be I should had 100 shutter speed to avoid the juddering.

HHmmm... I just dealt with almost this same type of "juddering" with a Canon 7D. Getting faster cards helped. Also she was auto-focusing on the fly with a method we were told would do that for that specific camera make. I tend to doubt it is a shutter speed problem, and more of a sensor issue.
What are the specs of the card you're recording to?
I don't understand what Clipwrap is being used for, just import the clips into FCP X.

I record on SanDisk Extreme HD Video 30 MB/s 32 GB card.
Another thought - may be it is connected to a Picture Profile settings I have set on my camera?
