A little part of a clip need to be in slowmotion.

Hi All.

Nice forum.

I have a clip i FCPX, i know how to add slowmotion on it, but what i need to do is to take a little part of the clip in slowmotion, but my problem is, when i click the clip then i can only move the clip or play with the time, when i click in the clip i get the timeline (the red vertical line) but i can't select a A-point and a B-point in the clip and then add slowmotion on the selection.

This is in the main editor window, lower left window. but in the Event Library window i can fine select a clip and then with the yellow selection tool select a part from that, but i cant do it in a clip a have selected, but where i in the middle of the clip have 3-5 sec. i need to slow down, here it only select the hole clip with the yellow selection tool, and then i can short down the clip in time og add slow/fast motion to the hole clip.



Can someone help me im new to this, but im a quick learner...

Mark In and Out points with I and O, or use the range selection tool R to drag a selection on the clip.
