Hi - struggled to find an answer to this - any help welcome
When I use a particular title in various projects, it always uses the content of the last project i've worked on, even when I look at the title in a different project.
(ie) if I've a title clip in a project that has the content text of "nine" , all other projects using the same title clip will now have the content "nine" instead of the original text it contained.
What am I not doing?
I suppose I can make duplicates of the title clip in motion for each project but that doesn't feel right
Any suggestions welcome - I'm new to video editing but am getting to love FCPX

Can you detail where you get this title clip from, and how you apply it to new timeilnes?

Hi - sorry for being vague - the title clip is under Titles then Cinema and then Slide. (the blue one with circles and motions)
When I drag it across into the first project it has the standard holding text of TitleSubtitle etc etc
I alter it there to what I want, render the file and share and its fine
If I then make a new project and want to use the same title, when I drag it in, it now has the text I entered from the first project - so I alter it to what I want , render and share. Up to this point, fair enough.
However if I go back to the first project to make an edit to it, the title clip is now showing the content from the second project and I have to re enter the original text before rendering and sharing.
