Anyone still using SL running FCPX? Is it worth to go to ML?

What computer would you be running it on? I have the 2011 iMac and love ML.

I have a 2011 27" iMac 3.1Ghz i5. I think sometimes FCPX is a bit laggy... Don't know why.

What's the full configuration?
I have the 27" i7 3.4
2GB Graphics
16GB RAM
SSD for OS and FCPX
External Thunderbolt
ZERO lag on this setup with 1080p footage.

I have the 27" i5 3.1
2GB Graphics
8GB RAM
1TB HDD
External FW 800
This is my main editing station, but sometimes I need to edit on the field and use a Macbook Pro 2010:
Core 2 Duo 2,4 13"
Nvidia 320M
8GB RAM
256GB SSD
External FW 800
Not the ideal, but sometimes is very useful. In FCP7 I can edit without lags, even with ML.

The big difference between fcp7 and FCPX is that 7 is 32bit and will only be able to use up to 3.5GB of RAM. SINCE FCPX IS 64bit it will use everything you throw at it, typically during an editing session, FCPX is using between 6-9GB of RAM. The best thing you can do for your iMac is get it to 16GB of RAM. it cost me $99 for 16GB of RAM in 2011, so it should be a little cheaper now. If you really want to go fast, get a thunderbolt drive and install a SSD. Other world computing has a tool kit and instructional video for installing the SSD yourself. I know nothing about servicing computers and I was able to install the SSD with no issues. It's amazingly fast. So fast that you will never be able to run a computer without an SSD again, everything else is just soooo slow.

Me. I'm happy with SL and didn't find any good reason for moving on to ML. A friend did and he said his MBP became much slower, so he went back to SL.
My MBP is 2.2GHz i7, 8GB. Mid 2011.
Good question though, because I'm curious after all if it wouldn't be better to install ML. The people at Coremelt wrote me that Apple changed some stuff under the hood and FCPX runs smoother in ML.
Can anyone confirm that?
