Hey guys I've just edited a 1hour and 13 minutes wedding shoot. colour corrected and de-noised. However it seems as though there may be something with the frame rate. I filmed the wedding using a sony hvr z7, using 25p. I imported the footage directly from tape to fcpx. The project settings are 1080p hd 25p. But the stuttering, movement just does not look right. Is there any advice the smooth out the footage?

While searching for answers to solve similar problems I have with the juddering motion I came to this article about the art of shooting in progressive. It will not give solutions to fix your footage but it may be very useful for further shootings. At least for me it definitely is.
